A room for the first steps into adulthood
IKEA visits a small and happy family of three where young David is longing for his own small kingdom to learn to be independent after spending long years under the constant surveillance of parents because of health issues. A makeover in David room is long overdue as it was once meant to be a nursery and hasn't much changed since then. IKEA Interior designer is happy to create a room for a teenager as she believes it offers more chances for free expression and bold colour combinations.
Sweet spot: storage for privacy in a shared home
Whether working on a private project or indulging in a moment of quiet, we all need time to ourselves. In this large household, space for both shared and solo activities was a must, and by zoning up areas of the home and utilising smart storage solutions, the ideal mix was found.
