Step 1
Look at the troubleshooting section in the instruction manual of your product. You can find the manual added to your appliance or on our website:
Search for the product in the search field at the top edge of the page.
Go to the product description.
Click on “Assembly instructions and documents” and download the manual.
Step 2
If the product is covered by an IKEA guarantee, you will need to have proof of purchase to benefit from this coverage.
Step 3
Make sure you have the necessary information:
(A) IKEA article number (8 digits)
(B) manufacturer number (5 digits)
(C) serial number (8 or more digits, depending on manufacturer)

Cooking hobs: on the underside
Extractor hoods: inside, behind the protection grid or filter
Fridges and freezers: on the lower left or right side when opened
Ovens: on the left or right side when opened

Combi microwaves with forced air: on the left or right side when opened
Portable induction hobs: on the back / outer side
Free-standing microwave ovens: on the back / outer side
