15 square meter home has plenty of room for everything, from comfortable work to quality sleep. Is it hard to believe? Let us welcome you to a creative one-room apartment with a bedroom, home office, kitchen and wardrobe in one.
A well planned space
Living single means not having to hide your bedroom behind the closed door and allows you to work wherever you want, even in the same place where you usually eat or sleep. The owner of this apartment invented a way of combining different areas and activities in one place with a little help of his bed-cabinet-shelf, a desk-dining table, a pantry-wardrobe and other multifunctional furniture.
Bedroom
Who said a bedroom bed has to be placed with a solid wall behind it? The new PLATSA bed frame can be perfectly placed in the middle of the room. In fact, this makes it even more functional. The bed frame gathers sleep and storage in one place. Under the mattress, there is plenty of storage space with closed cabinets and open shelves, and a high PLATSA wardrobe serves for a headboard.
Home office
The owner of this apartment believes that furniture should be smart, even on a tight budget. So the desk and dining table in one, that he made by himself, is not an exception. He made the table top out of a chipboard and added four KRILLE legs with castors that make the table easy to move. Next to the table, you can see different seating options: NILSERIK standing support that improves posture while working, as well as some MARIUS stools and foldable chairs for guests.
Kitchen
When all work is done, the table can be moved over the bed, leaving more space in the kitchen area. The kitchen is also furnished with every centimeter in mind. Wall cabinets extend up to the ceiling and help save space on the floor. What are other advantages of this kitchen? The KUNGSBACKA kitchen fronts in black-anthracite made from recycled wood and covered with a plastic foil made from recycled PET bottles are impact-resistant, easy to care for and keep clean.
Wardrobe
As there is no pantry in this small apartment, a whole wall behind the bed is dedicated to the PLATSA storage system. It includes a set of wall cabinets for bedding and seasonal clothes, a 3-door wardrobe and a LÄTTHET clothes rail. The latter is perfect if you want to use unused space between frames or between a frame and a wall. Besides, it gives a good overview and helps you easily reach clothes when needed.
